I also use Gaston and Treville.
But I don’t have the new guards at 5 stars. They bring Damage bonus, I think.
Maybe they are best if damage matter in wolflord.

Everyone I know use treville amd gaston. I have played around with the other guards on several of my accounts amd those was the best. The Wolf is all bout attack so also make sure you have all the attack abilities upgraded on beast tab too.

Realistically, guards make a differences but formation, with beast airship is major factor for pve. Best thing is getting a rocking formation heavy on distance.

I redid the troop formation that Gunmuse recommended and dropped the Artillery. I rejiggered the troop values and such and I think that this is a better formation. It is for me anyway with the stats that I have. You can change it as you like. I recommend Anne & Gaston for Guards. I also recommend filling in all the unused troop levels with 1 troop each for everything. You can even do the Artillery, it does boose the score.

The Airship is configured the same as it would be for Attack/Defense that Gunmuse recommends.

It is also set up for T11’s. If you have T12 or something else, your mileage may vary.

Tested above formation..not as good as gunmuse calc…i even tried changing warbooks to increase damage

Thank you so much for taking the time to try out the formation. I am sorry that it did not work better for you. I have compared the two and it does for me. It could be because of stats, ship, or other things. I do not know. I am wondering how much better was the gunmuse one? I am constantly improving the spreadsheet as I tune it to my configuration, so maybe a future one will work better for you.

You should be using art on wolf

At revenge.game there is a calculator that will give you a little more damage points on wolf. You will need to know your attack amd damage stats for your troops cause it ask for them. But yes you definitely need to use artillery
