  For Wolf, I send Full Distance with Arabah and Lucien.
  In the fort. a few Cav, about 60% Distance and 40% Inf. With Arabah and Lucien.
  
  That’s what works for me.

  40% infantry and 60% Distance with the same guards as above seems to be the best results for me so far..

  Arabah and lucien are the guards of choice now, both are distance guards and I have used them in fort with full distance troops. The new guard system just screwed up the whole game and I recently used 800 recruitment banners and did not get 1 decent guard, its like purser gear a luck and chance all over again to take your money. We all need to go on facebook and complain for them to fix this or as someone suggested a freeze on spending, that’s the only way they will listen.

  It seems that the full Distance works for higher stats. In the musketeers fort.
  I have better results with 60/40.
  I was a low spender. so I have 2800/5000 attacks stats.

  There’s no need for any formation calculator anymore. You just use Arabah/Lucien with highest tier distance or Anne/Gaston + cavalary.
