Because emulators run in a seperate enviroment. There is a reality limit on any pc.
The cheapest way to get a machine that will run multiple accounts is to buy a used HP blade style server from Ebay. They will have hardware built to make proper use of as many as 24 cpu’s for around $150. You can load windows 10 on these machines and then remote desktop into them so you don’t need graphics cards. I have run as many as 30 emulators at the same time.ALTHOUGH anyone over 4 emulators no matter the setup brings a machine to a crawl
The days of botting as closing out. The time to keep those farms running isn’t worth the cost of the electricity to run them.

I have an old m6700 Dell laptop i7 with 32gb ram and SSD drive running Windows 10 with Bluestacks. I have it connected to a 55in 4k TV and I regularly run 4 accounts on the screen at once. Bluestacks is a processor/resource hog so I can run 5 at once but start to see more lag. I priced a newer upgraded version of this M6800 on Ebay around $550. Being a laptop I can take it with me. Just one option..100s more options out there. Good luck.

Make sure your emulator is using opengl and not divx about a year and a half ago GoG changed graphics formats and you may be getting advice from older articles.
